Three commitments

  • One price for everything

€890 per month, excl. VAT. No set-up fee per partner, no fee per message. Whether you connect three partners or thirty, the invoice stays the same.

  • AI-driven setup in 30 minutes

You upload your customer's EDI implementation guide. The AI reads the message types, identifiers and transmission method from it and builds the connection on your server.

Applies to the technical setup, from the installed server to the first test message.

  • New partners in minutes, not months

Every additional partner follows the same route: upload the documents, confirm what was recognised, test.

The technical work takes minutes. How long testing with the partner takes is up to the partner.

A familiar problem

A large customer switches to EDI and asks all its suppliers to follow. Often it names a service provider at the same time. The usual route then means a set-up fee per partner and per message type, plus monthly fees per relationship. With small German EDI service providers (clearing centres), that is €400 to €850 one-off per relationship.

And with the next customer, it all starts again.

€13,200 to €14,700

for setup alone, with 10 partners and three message types each. Our own calculation from the public price lists of two German clearing centres, as of 16 October 2026. See the calculation and sources

How it works

  1. Contract

You take out the subscription licence and your own contract with an AI provider, such as Anthropic or OpenAI. We check that the access works.

  2. Upload documents

EDI implementation guide, cover letter, sample files. The AI shows what it has recognised and you confirm. Plus a few questions, 15 at most.

  3. Provide a server

Debian 13, a VM is enough. There you run an installation command: it checks memory, ports, DNS and connections and installs the platform from signed packages. There is no SSH access for us.

  4. The AI sets things up

The AI works only through the platform's configuration interface, with a token that you create in the dashboard and can revoke at any time. It builds partners, transmission methods, mappings and the ERP integration, in TEST mode first.

  5. Acceptance and go-live

Test messages with your partner. Only when you approve does the connection go to PROD. Every change is logged.

One price. Everything included.

€890

per month, excl. VAT

Minimum term 6 months, then cancellable monthly. Payment by invoice, monthly, quarterly or annually as you prefer.

Support and onboarding are available in German and English. Contracts are governed by German law.

Included

  • Subscription licence to run the software on your server
  • Initial setup by the AI
  • Integration with your ERP system
  • Customers and suppliers in the common EDI formats via AS2, OFTP2, SFTP, HTTPS and email, inbound and outbound Which formats exactly?

What you provide

  • A dedicated server running Debian 13 a VM is enough, at least 8 GB of RAM
  • Your own contract with an AI provider for a capable model, as of October 2026 for example Claude Opus 5.5 or GPT 6. The AI provider bills you directly; the dashboard shows the usage per setup and per partner connection.
  • The documents from your trading partners

Why on your own server

With EDI service providers and SaaS services, all your orders, delivery notes and invoices pass through the provider's systems. With edi-service.eu, your day-to-day business data stays on your server.

For the setup, the AI reads your partners' implementation guides and sample messages; these documents go to your AI provider, under your own contract. In day-to-day operation, the platform works to fixed rules, without AI.

Mappings and configuration are stored on your server and can be exported as a readable file at any time. If you cancel, you take them with you.

Who is behind it

edi-service.eu is a service from fokus it solutions in Sindelfingen, Germany. Your contact is Jens Musleh. He has worked with interfaces, data transformation and EDI projects since 1995 and has set up many customer and supplier connections in that time.

That experience is built into the mappings, the checks and the questions the assistant asks.
